the rest of the isreal thing

it was good i had a lot of fun, it wasnt actualy like hard work, but it was definatly intencive, i met realy nice people, and i painted loads, i didnt get all of my posters up tho, but i was never that happy with the print anyway, and the 2 i put up ther got ripped down in like a couple of days and i didnt get a pic of one of them, but never mind, mayb they were a lil agressive or summit.

lol check me out ive worked out how to do links, but yeah anyway he stayed at the same hostel so were were out painting most nites, and did a few spots down this same road, it was awsome, apart from the cockroaches, wich are fucking ninjas, i dunno about that but they are about 2 inches big, and wen ur not used 2 seing bugs like that, actualy made me screem like a little girl.

as always you can click on any of these picks to make them bigger, but yeah as u can see tell avivs got some aswsome art and some awsome spots, the place where we were the police used to just used to roll straight by, and we even got people asking us to paint ther workshops, wich was realy cool.

i was a bit worried coz the guy whos place it was wasnt exactly sure what i was doing, as i didnt do the big black circles till the end, so i and him were quite releived when he relised what was going on and liked it,

the first wall me and mr dimajio did tho, was so cool, out painting freely on the streets is like the best thing ive done for ages, it was so much fun, and the peice came out realy good aswell, its like my favorite thing ive painted ever, but i havent got a good shot of it yet thers liads more of MDs peice ive missed out, anyway ill get one and ill post it,

so, yeah, isreal aparently is prity hot. ive been here now for about 3 hours, it kinda feels like 5 its like midnite and its still hoter than the hottist day we had over ther, im sweatting my ass off

anyway thats the only thing im gunna say about the weather, the rest of it is fucking cool, ive drank like 2 beers and smoked a spliff so im all good and relaxe, and im gunna call theese guys in the morning to see what ther saying about gettin paint, so anyway back to the point

i was a bit aprehenceive about flying out this morning, coz i didnt have an mp3 player and i kinda lost my cash card like the day b4 so im kinda boned if i run out of money lol, thers definatly guna haft2 be a more frugal me for the next 2 weeks fo sho,
but the flight  turned out ok coz i met a couple of older people on the plane that were indipendantly comeing over here for a wedding, turned out it was the same wedding and they were related,  so that was quite cool, but mainly i drank gin and tonic and fell asleep.

so yeah after that i got here , and they gave me a hard time at the airport, why are you here who are you meeting, how much money do you have, have you got a creddit card, all of witch i seemend to say the wrong thing to, so i got taken in2 a lil room and had a proper interview for like 20 mins, it was well skery.
fortunatly they desided i was nice and let me in,  :)

so ye was prity flusterd by that and jumped in a cab to the hostel witch to be fair is prity goddamn shabby, and if clive or stoo or alex saw the electric in this place heed proly go home i swear to god, but its a good base of opperations and the people seem nice (or just not care), ive just one out with some guy and done a few lil bits and smoked a spliff and went around looking at the walls wich was cool, looks like the entire part of town im in is coverd with graffiti, its awsome, ill dop some pictures 2morow when i go exploreing in the  daylight,

but yeah it seems that they dont bother painting over anything here, and from this lad was saying, u can rity much do stuff in the day and no1 wil ive a shit, wich i do actualy belive.

anyway thats it for day1 its like 12 30 and looks like eveyone is about to sleep im guna finish this bee, sit in my bed and sweat my big fat belly off till the sun comes up 2morow

the barefoot goddess festival and jim henson

b4 i get in2 all the stuff from the barefoot festival, im gunna show u this relly neat video of jim henson showing you how to build puppets from 1969, its about 15 mins long so take some time and have a cup of tea with it or summit, anyway its realy nice and im sure ull enjoy

ok right the barefoot festival, was cool, nothing like anything im used to, about 4-500 people about 10 of them guys, witch is all fine, but i dont think ive been around that many hippys for a very long time, they are very strange people indeed, and im not sure if they actualy belive all these angle reading, aura seeing inforsed laughing yoga stuff, or there just pretending to try and be a bit different, mayb im just getting a lil synical in my old age lol, SCIENCE AND LOGIC is what i say.

 but apart from me not comuning with my inner goddess over the weekend, i did actualy have a realy good time, and met some great people, big shout out to ronda and dan for getting married next week, last time i saw her was easly 7-8 years ago, and i ended up crashing her suprise hen night, witch looked like it was going to be quite a sober affair b4 i turned up lol, bigup to every1 from the gate who were by far the funist people ther and also a massive thanks to louisa for putting the hole thing on, im defo gunna come back next year. and definatly a biiiigggg  thanks to my long suffering lady  who both dropped me ther and came and picked me up the next day, that was prity cool of her epecialy as i ended up getting pissed the friday nite and failed to do all the things i needed to do, like go2 hobbycraft, pack my stuff, and spend some quality time with her, but oh well

ok back to the peice, well it was raining..... it was raining hard......... and i was outside  with no cover in the middle of a feild.  at one point the entire thing had turned to liquid and was slowly slipping off the wood, and whatever i did would just mix with the undercoat. it was a real struggle to actualy get anything to look harf way decent, and i might have inatvertantly growled at a few hippys when they came to talk to me, (sory if that was you) but eventualy, after about 3 hrs the rain stopped and i managed to sort a few things out, and make it not look like the saddest painting in the world, (witch i quite liked, but didnt quite go with the surroundings), but anyway enough rambeling heres the pik of wot i dun....

ive been getting lax with all this blog stuff so i gunna do a big catch up.

first of all illl start with whats happening with tel aviv:

right im off on the 23rd and ive now extended my stay to come back on the 6th, as theve had to change the dates of the festival, i could have gone and come back and missed the festival but that would be crap, like i wanna get some decent video of the hole thing not only coz it will be cool but because it will look really good on my cv when im trying to get this arts grant in september.

but yeah, i managed to get alot of people round my house for the photos of people in pants that i needed, that was an awsome nite, and i think the factor of the large amount of wine and vodka helped out in loosening every1s wheels quite alot. in fact it was a struggle to keep alex`s clothes on after that big lolz :P

so yeah ive been spending the last few days turning my mates in2 creatures after that, and im prolly gunna spend untill wensday when im gunna go and attempet to get them printed out, ive got a plan but im still not sure if its gunna work, if it doesnt it looks like im gunna have 2 use a billion bits of a4 and a million pounds on ink cartrages, (fun times)

im going to leicter this weekend to do a live painting set for the people at the bere foot goddess festival

ive spoke about this b4 and have now actualy got a plan for what im going to do, well i say plan ive kinda got it worked out in my head (mostly) but you know me i like to keep things fresh, never know what im gunna do untill i do it lol, ill drop piks on here and the facebook when im back.

the next bit is the photograaphy exibition i said i was gunna do, but then i relised exactly how much it was going to cost for me to get my pictures printed, as im off to isreal i couldnt realy justify the cost, but i did have a cool plan and i did take some good pictures, well im no photographer so i dont realy know if ther any good, but i liked them. anyway take a butchers urself see what u think:

this was the first group of pictures i took for it, i wanted to do quite a personal thing of peoples shelves,  i think they say quite alot about people, all the lil nicknacks and crap people collect kinda reflect the peoples personalities and lives.

anyway ide better shoot off, ive got to go and pack a tent for a very wet and windy weekend camping with a bunch of hippys in the leictershire countryside,

ive been asked to do some one limited prints by this guy in northampton, yhis is my first attempt i also made a video to go with it



it took about 8 hrs and was realy good fun to do, unfortunatly my dv cam is prity shit quality and u cant actualy see any of the lines i drew, godamnit, but nevermind ive got a better one on loan now from a friend so ill see what i can do with that, this on records strait on2 cd and is about 10 years newer so i should be able to see more of the work i did

ive also been making lil videos of my old black books, and posting them up on youtube, i dunno why realy i just thort it might be a nice thing 2 share





anyway no comments on the first and second one yet, but 2 on the 3rd one one saying they wanna buy it the second one calling me a toy lol, oh well

ive got another poster to go up 2nite aswell, im trying 2 get prity onit again with my street work, as ive been a bit lax with that recently, right thats about it for now, ill have some more picks in the next few days prolly, have a good one yo

time to get rid of the england flags (again)

hey how are you all, i just thort ide drop a few pics on here, at this late hour, its now tuesday morning, the suns comming up, im a bit drunk and yet again england have fucked up the football again, but anyway im not gunna get in2 that apart from 2 say... what a load of bollox ok that was. ok a bad desision by the reff but, it seems out multy million pound players desided not to show up for the world cup and looked like the bunch of over payed premadonas they actualy are, i say drop the lot of them, i meean fuk them if they dont wanna actualy play for the country we can and do deserve better than that... pfft

apart from that, the weathers been good, and ive been sitting in the fox garden spending money i dont have and doodleing pictures for this guy in northampton, nothing properly finalised but ive made a good start,
