today im going to go sort this room out and see how bad the leak is, photos and picks later on

studio one

this is an awsome picture that nikkis working on for the poerty kerpow night, shees been doing the decore for the night for the past few months and every time it looks better and better

the other news is that i might have a studio space sorted out finaly, its kinda full of damp mould and mushrooms atm, and its gunna take me a while to make it good, but after that ive got it indefinatly, im really exited about it, and cant wait to start work, wich will happen next weekend hopefully, ill keep you posted with horror pictures and work in progress reports, as i get them

evolution

for a while now ive been umming and areing about trying to put on a solo show, its 4.58am and ive desided to try, i have no idea where it will be yet, or what im going to do, but if i aim to put it on in late october and find myself some studio space, i should be able to do something good

i have desided to work on the idea of evolution,  a broad subject, that encompases everything we know about ourselves. all the work i now produce will be towards this aim

girls, colabs and revolution

as you can see from the photos end of jan/start of feb has been a crazy time, the dolls have kinda taken a back seat for the moment as i test out our new projector, you may have also noticed the picks of harf naked girls, this was from the exit through the gift shop night at the buszy, but to be honest everything i do at the moment pales into insignificance compared to the struggle happening in egypt over the last few weeks, Mubarak is still clinging on to power and ther now seems to be stail mate between the protesters and the government, and since the other day when the pro government protesters ( who it apears are under the pay of Mubarak)  tried to take control of Cairo's central square,leaving 800 injured and 10 dead, all hopes for a quick resilution to the troubles seems to have passed


my thoughts are with all the people of egypt


the only other things i have to show you is another colab beween me and clive from the weekend

version 3 of the dolls

hey how you all doing?? im pretty tired, i have been emensly hung over all day after going to see R.S.I at the crawford last nite in wolverton, it seems age is catching up with me and i can no longer go out drinking with out feeling like death all the next day, ho hum, but yeah the gig was cool and it was wicked catching up with some old friends, i ended up taking a pen with me and the bumflap assassin did this to the gilrs toilets, a master peice of toilet graffiti i reccon lol:

weve also been working on the plushie dolls again this week and ther realy starting to take shape, they now have bodies and everything, i reccon one more version and theel be ready to sell take a look see what you think:

so yeah its all pretty exiteing, im likeing screen printing alot atm, and im defo gunna do some more, i want to make a hole army of lil creatures to populate the bedrooms of angsty teenagers everywhere mwhaha!!

also ive been figuring out what to do for this graffiti on girls thing im doing at the bussy on jan the 28th
ive never done anything like this b4 and it might be a bit weird, i dont know how naked shees gunna be or how old or anything, its a bit skery,  i kinda what a fat model so i get more space, but whoever she is im sure sheel be brilliant whoever she is, but im thinking about doing some stencils to like save time and airbrushing some paterns on her b4 i get the down to the painting, or i was thinking about doing summit like that guy zevs who does all the drips,

but i dunno how up4 getting messy sheel be, i dunno ill have to work it out when i get ther. but yeah, ther also showing exit through the gift shop aswell, wich ive already seen, but i think it will be nice to see what other people think of the movie, oh i just rememberd my friend inspire has just got his video of the interview he did for bomb it 2, the first one was awsome, and by the looks of things the second one is gunna be just as cool

                                

hees a real nice guy, and i wish him all the best in his endevers in isreal, if you can get a download of both the movies, you wont be disapointed, unlike the banksy movie, the bombit movies go around the world just interviewing the artists straight to camera, ther cool

ive also been working with my frend clive this week with the airbrush, we did a lil colab thing, it turned out realy cool, tho we didnt finish it, but its cool to see him paint, he doesnt do it mutch but he definatly has some real talent and when i went round ther the other day he was bizzy painting boreds white to do some more things, wich is a great sign , im expecting some awsome things in the next few weeks, anyway heres what we did, click the pic for it to go big:

and yeah thats been my week, quite productive i feel, as from 2morow im on a mission to get fit, i seem to be looseing my washbored like chest and its turning in2 more of a barrel, so as of this week im gunna start swimming, walking and eating less bacon, itl work trust me, but on the art side of things im gunna get these stencils done and work on version 4 of the dolls, ill keep you posted

plushie update and new year and all that

 

so, yeah, happy new year and christmas and all that, i didnt bother doing any posts or lists about the the best bits of 2010 coz thers alot of them about and most of them are prity much the same, tho i really did enjoy reading Mathews list of 101 things to do in 1001 days on his mmt in mk blog and i realy didnt think i could do any better, also i liked the list over on the huffington post of The 10 Most Overrated Artists of the Decade, which was quite funny, even though i was only aware of about 40% of them.

as for presents i got some dirty inks to go and break stuff with and some exelent head fashion, a book, and some home made damson vodka which went down very nicely on new year, so a pretty good hall i think.

right back to the new stuff…

we got the skreen printing kit out 2day to do some tests to see what the dolls would kinda look like, and after alot of fucking about we actualy got it working, which in its self is quite amazing beings how its been hold up in a shed for the past year and a bit, but yeah worked perfectly, im even pleased with the results, i mean they look a bit basic now, but once we get some bodies on them i think ther gunna look cool

i also got a bit over exited and made myself a tee shirt, which i think looks cool but nikki thinks looks a mess, anyway these are the results, drop me a line tell me what u think so far if u like

TAYOS TRACKSUIT PARTY

David Ram jam Rodigan ther smashing it, couldnt stay for the hole set as we had to get our asses back to the grids, but yeah back to the begining. it was a looong day witch started off going to hackney to go and pick up my stuff from the under grey skies, and to an interview that didnt happen, but nevermind we had lunch and found our way to shoreditch,
after setting up we had a game of ping pong on the bars own ping pong table wich was awsome fun untill people started comming in and i got embarrest coz ide just farted in the room and it realy stank lol
turnes out ther wasnt any one else painting so nikki kindly jumped in, and did an awsome job,   we were both prity nervouse but i think the acares of free tiger beer tokens wich helped no end and an hour later we were well onit, josh also came down for moral support and a good night was had, anyway heres the picks:

after the gig tho, it all kinda went bad, it apears my homeing instinckts failed me this time and we missed the last train home and had to stay in a dirty expencive hotel by euston witch ended up costing us all the money we made for the evening godamnit. i will make sure this doesnt happen again, and if ur ever stuck in london DONT STAY AT THE EUSTON COTTAGE,, the sheets were stained, there were fag burns everywere, and there was fumes comeing out from the top of the radiator, bad bad times lol
